I’m glad you asked. Mezzaluna, is me (Angela Fortin), and my bright ideas! I am located i in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and I create eye-catching, memorable print and web design and some illustration too. Sometimes I will be the only one working on a project, but I also have a talented network of designers, illustrators and programmers that I can tap into as each project dictates. Think of us as those foam dinosaurs that grow when they hit the water. This allows us to customize a good fit for each project, big or small!

Growing up, I was a creative person. From the time I was able to communicate, I’ve been critiquing my younger sibbling’s doodles and artfully decorating my Jr. High school friends’ Trapper Keepers. I've officially been doing this "designer" gig professionally now for about 14 years. Wow, time flies!

Mezzaluna means half-moon in Italian. The name came to me late one night when I was designing; I was the only one awake in my neigborhood – just me and the moonlight. Since “Moonlighting” is another term for what I was doing at the time, the name made sense and stuck. I know it‘s a bit hard to say but it’s a clever play on words, don't you think? Here’s some help if you’re not sure how to pronounce it: [Met-zah-loo-nah].
